Some Highways Should Be Faster

‘Speed kills’ is the road safety mantra, but ridiculously low and constantly changing speed zones on highways are also a potentially dangerous distraction for drivers, according to the RACT.

Spokesperson Vince Taskunas thinks the stretch of highway between Mornington and the Shoreline Shopping Centre on Hobart's Eastern Shore is a prime example.
