Accommodation rates on the North West Coast continue to improve according to the Tasmanian Hospitality Associations latest statistics.
Occupancy rates for last month reached a healthy 61.22% a six year high, and a jump of over 7.5 % on last year’s November figure.
THA General manager Steve Old said its pleasing to see more visitors heading to regional areas around the state as Tasmania’s reputation as a top destination continues to grow.
The new statistics prove more people are choosing the NW as a place to visit and stay.
It comes as the south of the state enjoyed 90% occupancy rates for November, for the first time since 2008.
