A 24 year old man has faced a Launceston court on multiple sex charges, involving underage girls.
Reginald Young has been charged with 3 counts of rape, 1 of abduction and 1 of possessing child exploitation material.
The charges involve three girls, aged 13, 15 and 17.
Young from Summerhill, didn't enter any pleas, or apply for bail, and has been remanded in custody to face court again on July 4.
He was arrested yesterday followed an investigation by Launceston CIB Detectives beginning in May.
Detective Inspector John King says it's a reminder for parents to ensure their children aren't accepting social media friend requests from unknown people.
Police alleged the man initiated contact with the 3 underage victims via social media in February 2016.
