Kilograms of drugs, pill presses, high-end vehicles and power tools have been seized and 55 people face 133 charges following a series of raids across the Gold Coast focusing on an organised drug syndicate.
Nine of those charged under an investigation which has been running since December face allegations they were involved in the trafficking and production of MDMA, amphetamine and GHB, Queensland police said on Wednesday.
The targeted group isn't a bikie gang but a network of men and women allegedly involved in selling drugs and stolen property around the northern Gold Coast throughout the past few years, Detective Inspector Mark Thompson told reporters.
