Meet this week's pets: Addy, Adele and Aiden

On 1st March staff at RSPCA in Launceston were horrified when a gentleman arrived with 8 (out of 10) kittens that he found tied into a garbage bag in a bushy area, on what was to be a very hot day. Thankfully he had come across them early in the day. The kittens were all aged between 4-5 months (we think there were 2 different litters), and understandably, some of them were feeling very distressed. However, within 24 hours they had started to relax and enjoy the attention they were getting, and are now turning into lovely, affectionate little cats (though a couple still a little shy) with beautiful sleek coats. Every one of them a variation on a Tabby theme, but all individuals as well.

We would love to get all the kittens out into new homes in pairs, so that they can have company of one of their family. We have a very special adoption fee for 2 kittens adopted together.

When the cruel person abandoned them in the middle of the night and left them to die, there must have been a cat angel watching over them! They could so easily have never been found in time to save them. We are hoping their luck will continue and that they will all join new families who will care for them and give them a long life, full of the love and care they deserve.

Featured are Addy, Adele and Aiden, just a representation of the rest of their family.
