More than 3.5 kilograms of the drug ice has been seized, with police charging four people from a series of searches this week.
A 27 year old Bracknell woman has fronted court on charges of trafficking and importing a controlled drug, after she was allegedly court with five litres of the drug GHB and nearly 3.4 kilos of ice during a screening at the Spirit of Tasmania on Wednesday.
Separately, police allege two people had the drug ice seized during an evade incident in West Ulverstone, as well as cash alleged to be the proceeds of crime, with another search resulting in the arrest of a member of the Outlaws motorcycle gang in Devonport yesterday [Thursday].
Police say the drugs seized equate to more than thirty five thousand street deals – and they’ll continue to target offenders who attempt to import illicit substances into Tasmania.
