Carr Villa Memorial Park Mother’s Day Memorial Service

Members of the community are warmly invited to attend a special Mother’s Day Memorial Service at Carr Villa Memorial Park.

Held ahead of Mother’s Day, this annual gathering provides a gentle and supportive space to honour and remember mothers and maternal figures who have shaped our lives.

The service will take place on Friday 8 May 2026 at 10.00am in the Carr Villa Chapel, offering an opportunity for quiet reflection and remembrance.

While Mother’s Day is often associated with celebration, it can also be a deeply emotional time for those whose mum is no longer with them. This memorial service provides a moment to pause, remember, and reflect alongside others who may be experiencing similar feelings.

The non-religious service will acknowledge mothers, grandmothers, stepmothers, and the many women who have played nurturing and guiding roles in our lives.

The service is open to all members of the community, whether their loved one rests at Carr Villa Memorial Park, another location, or is simply remembered in their hearts.
