Capcom has finally given us a release date for “Resident Evil: Village,” the eighth main game in a series which arrives in time for the 25th anniversary of the original "Resident Evil" (1996) or "Biohazard" as it was known in Japan.
The new title will release on May 7th and the announcement comes with several different trailers showing different additional content that will accompany it.

Another is for the special online multiplayer title “Re:Verse” which comes free to anyone who purchases ‘Village’.
Finally the Netflix CG animated movie “Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness” which follows the adventures of two of the game series main characters Claire Redfield and Leon Kennedy.
Also in the works is a live-action tv series which is said to be finished and due for release later in 2021.
The new game "Resident Evil: Village" comes to both Next Generation and last Generation consoles as well as PC via Steam.
