5 Days in April

Local artists will take over Legacy House this April as the Launceston Art Society presents its five-day exhibition, Five Days in April, running from 22–26 April, 10am–2pm daily, (12pm-2pm on Anzac Day) in York Street.

The Launceston Art Society (LAS) invites the community to experience a vibrant showcase of local artistic talent, featuring a wide range of works from Society members across multiple mediums and styles. With no set theme, visitors can expect a dynamic and varied collection, offering something for every taste.

“This exhibition is an opportunity for our members to present their best work and for the community to experience the breadth of talent here in Launceston,” said LAS President, Will Cassidy. “Whether you’re a regular gallery-goer or simply curious, we’d love people to come in and have a look.”

Alongside the exhibition, awards will be presented for outstanding works, as selected by judges, as well as a People’s Choice Prize, giving visitors the opportunity to have their say.

Entry is free, with a gold coin donation to Legacy appreciated.
