Share the Dignity packing day

Location – Windsor Community Precinct function room (near main reception & dentist) 1 Windsor park drive

Anita & I volunteer for share the dignity and will be putting together bags once again for local women in need for Share the Dignity’s November campaign – It’s in the bag campaign.
The bags are delivered to local charities for women and teens having a tough time. There is so much need in Tasmania and we love that they all stay here.

Our aim is 250 women and teen bags. We hope we will come close, with your help 💕
Last year we packed over 250 bags!! 🤩

We would love for you to come along and help pack some bags. We will have a silent auction, lucky door prize and a prize for the best pink outfit on the day. Please bring along an essential item(s) to donate.

We started the packing days to help more people by creating more bags for Share the dignity – Its in the bag campaign.

This year financial situation has shown the definite need for more bags with people not being able to afford the basic essentials. Equally it has shown less donations all round as everyone feeling the pinch.

With the packing day we have created a safe space where people can come along to do help out. You don’t need money, just a big heart. Anyone can come and help and contribute to their communities.

There is no expectation you stay the whole time, you can pop in fill a few bags enjoy some morning tea and head on your way. 🙏🏻

If you are in the position please bring along an item to donate. Essential items include- Shampoo, conditioner, toothbrush, toothpaste, soap/body wash, roll on deodorant, period products, newborn nappys, nappy rash cream, 0-6 dummy’s, baby shampoo.
