Join us for a free, all-ages skate session and creative workshops at Riverbend Park, Launceston, brought to you by Skate of Mind — Big hART’s nationally touring skateboarding and arts program.

What’s On

Professional skaters will be on hand to run beginner-friendly skateboarding workshops throughout the afternoon, and we’re bringing our mobile half pipe! Whether you’re just starting out or looking to level up your skills, all abilities are welcome in this safe, inclusive community space.

Not into skating? No worries — free digital art workshops will run alongside the skate sessions all afternoon. No registration required for art.

Skateboards and safety gear are available to borrow (limited supply), so there’s no barrier to getting involved.

This event is 100% free and fully subsidised to ensure everyone can participate.
