RSPCA CEO Jan Davis says the Society has launched its own investigation alongside another being conducted by the State’s Office of Racing Integrity.

Ms Davis says seizing the dogs is unlikely.

“We do have the right to remove the animals if we feel that they’re at risk; at this point in time we’re not there yet,” she said.

“There’s a logistics consideration too, I have nowhere to put them if we did remove them, we’re talking about 90 dogs.”
