An east coast crash has landed a 65-year-old motorcyclist in the Royal Hobart Hospital in a serious but stable condition.
Police say the Harley Davidson rider was in of a group of three when he was caught up in the smash involving a car on the Tasman Highway heading south from Bicheno.
He was airlifted with impact injuries while the car’s driver wasn’t hurt.

Speed isn’t thought to be a factor and investigations are focusing on the road placement of the vehicles.
