A woman whose penthouse in Sydney was swarmed by police during the arrest of accused murderer Ricardo Barbaro claims she never met him or knew of his history.
Crystal Shihada says she didn't know the 33-year-old, and was asked by her colleague to let him stay there because he had nowhere else to go.
It is not suggested Ms Shihada is involved in any wrongdoing and a Victoria Police has confirmed the woman would not be charged.
Police found Barbaro hiding in the 27-year-old's apartment, ending a ten-day interstate manhunt.
He's since been charged with the murder of his 26-year-old Tasmanian girlfriend, Ellie Price, who was found dead in South Melbourne on May 4, and will face court again in September.
