A 10 metre fall from a cliff on Tasmania's East Coast has critically injured a young person.
The Rescue Chopper headed to the scene at Buckland in the Sand River Conservation area to take the patient to the Royal Hobart Hospital.
The area is not accessible by road.
Police units from Sorell and Orford attended the scene.

That fall from a cliff on Tasmania's East Coast has turned out to have been fatal.
A young Victorian girl visiting the state with her siblings was killed when she fell 10 metres from the cliff at Buckland in the Sand River Conservation area.
CPR was performed on the girl, but she couldn't be revived.
