A 32 year old motorcyclist from Invermay has been charged after allegedly riding dangerously with a young child on board.

Last week police released of a photo of the alleged incident at Newnham on May 3rd.

He's since been tracked down and arrested, now charged with reckless driving and evading police

The man has been bailed to face court on June 21.

"Police have seized the motorcycle and are engaging with other government agencies regarding the child safety aspects of this incident," a Tasmania Police statement said.

"Tasmania Police would like to thank the community for their assistance in this matter."
