There's been another delay in an alleged Hobart murder case.
Darren Mark Wake's defence team is still waiting on a psychiatrists report they say will be the decisive factor in his plea to one count of murder.
The 62-year-old was arrested and charged over the death of much-loved nurse and midwife Rachel Wake.
The mother was allegedly stabbed at Mornington on Christmas Day and died in the Royal Hobart Hosptial in the hours following.
Magistrate Jackie Hartnett adjourned Wake's case and continued his remand until July 11 when the report is expected to be ready and he'll enter a plea.
