New Music! King Princess, Amy Shark and 5 SOS!

I Said Hi - Amy Shark

Gold Coast singer-songwriter Amy Shark releases her highly anticipated new single ‘I Said Hi’.

The track is the first single off her upcoming debut album entitled LOVE MONSTER, which is set for release on July 13th

Amy has said, "I Said Hi’ is about overcoming adversity and the struggles we face in our day-to-day lives.

This is a little be of a different sound for Amy, and I wouldn’t blame you for thinking it was Lorde.

I’m loving the lyrics to this song, it's forward but yet sarcastic with the whole “yeah, I bet the whole world thought I would give up… Tell them all I said hi.”

Love it!

Youngblood - 5 Seconds of summer

5 Seconds of Summer (often abbreviated as 5SOS) are an Australian pop rock band from Sydney, New South Wales, formed in 2011.

The group were originally YouTube celebrities, posting videos of themselves covering songs from various artists during 2011 and early 2012.

They rose to international fame while touring with One Direction on their Take Me Home Tour.

In early 2014, the band released "She Looks So Perfect" as its debut single, which topped the charts in Australia, New Zealand, Ireland and the United Kingdom.

5 Seconds of Summer this week announced their new album ‘Youngblood’ out June 22.

Youngblood starts off slower then quickly builds and will have you bopping around to its catchy beat. Probably my favourite song by 5SOS so far!

1950 - King Princess

'1950' is one of the best new tracks you'll hear this week.

King Princess is a young artist from Brooklyn, New York. '1950,' King Princess' debut single, is an amazing piece about love, and more specifically, queer love.

King Princess states, "Queer love was only able to exist privately for a long time, expressed in society through coded art forms.

I wrote this song as a story of unrequited love in my own life, doing my best to acknowledge and pay homage to that part of history."

I have had this song on repeat since I first heard it, and each time I hear it, it leaves me wanting more from King Princess.

And for the record… The song isn’t saying the F word all the way through it, it is saying “for you.”
