The Star Theatre, Launceston

Details: Built in 1937, the Star Theatre is an iconic Art Deco cinema in Launceston, Tasmania. It ceased operation as a cinema in 1969 but it was re-opened on the 24 February 2018. Come and see the beautiful Art Modern (late 1930s Art Deco) cinema that has been restored. You are welcome to wander through and have a look at the building, enjoy a coffee or a glass of wine at the cafe/bar, and of course watch a movie!

Exeter Art Studios
Where: Parking off the Frankford highway in the Exeter Show grounds.
When: Sunday, 11th November 2018 – Tuesday, 30th April 2019
Details: A new working arts centre is opening in Exeter. As of 11th November, there is going to be a working community arts studio. Members of the public and tourists are encouraged to visit the various artisans as they work on their own specialised medium in the Exeter Show Hall. The studios are open Wednesday through to Sunday from 9am to 5pm and will continue through to April 2019.

Rabble Launceston Launch!

St Patrick's Day 2019

Details: Sunday March 17th is St Patrick's Day!
We are open from 6am for a traditional Irish breakfast, complemented with a pint of Guinness. Our Dining Room is open for breakfast, lunch and dinner - bookings are essential!

We strictly believe in positive reinforcement for our training!

Tasmanian Garlic & Tomato Festival
Where: Four Springs Road, Selbourne
When: Sunday 17th March at 10:00AM – 3:30 PM
Details: It just keeps getting better! Join us and our very special guest, PETER CUNDALL, at Selbourne for a day of all thing’s garlic and tomatoes. Peter will be officially opening the festival and joining a panel of guest speakers, including Penny Woodward, Angus Stewart and Nevil Reed. We'll have live music by Ben Mckinnon, tomato tours, the tasting tent where you can judge for yourself 130 tomato varieties and 15 garlic varieties. Enter competitions before or on the day. Take the kids for a treasure hunt through the bush, see the animals and enjoy the children's arena, visit over 40 food and produce stalls. The festival is dog-friendly (on a lead please).
